INTRO CLASS

Have your kids try it before deciding if that is the activity they are looking for. At The Tinguinha Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy we offer a FREE introductory class designed to familiarize our interested students with the basics of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and what to expect from classes whithout being overwhealmed or jumping into a group class. Fundamental positions, will be reviewed, along with other techniques meant to make the transition to BJJ a smooth one.
These one-on-one classes are also a great opportunity to meet our instructors, view our facilities, and get a feel for the gym and its students.

KIDS JITSU PROGRAMS

A complete self-defense system that will give children a high degree of self confidence. Our children's classes cover many aspects of training applicable to youth. We concentrate primarily on having fun and informative classes where children from 5- to 14-years-old learn balance, coordination, and proper time and place for martial arts training. The kids program integrates sport and self-defense techniques with conditioning and skill-oriented games aimed at improving your child's motor skills, agility and flexibility.

Our Kids/Junior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Programs are uniquely designed and tailored to cater to kid's different ages, goals and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu levels. We offer a different programs that will fit your child's different needs!

LITTLE SPIDERS

Our little spiders program is tailored to kids 5-7 years of age and works to develop coordination, flexibility and discipline through fun and educational games and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu basic foundation techniques. Kids will learn basic self defense techniques,and social interaction skills.

SPIDERS

Our Tinguinha BJJ Spiders Program is tailored for kids 8 to 14 years of age and is designed to teach self defense, balance, coordination, focus, leadership and discipline. Our Spiders Teammembers will learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defense techniques while building self confidence, self control, discipline and character. At the Tinguinha BJJ Academy we cater a family environment and kids will be part of a team and build friendships that will last a lifetime while they learn to defend themselves and grow to be self confident and honorable individuals.

BLACK WIDOWS

The Tinguinha BJJ Academy Black Widows Program was created for our champions of tomorrow. This is a program geared towards competition,for Kids with the desire to compete in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Sport and learn the rules,timing and stratergies of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition sport.
